HOME

Home

Where do you live? If you think of your country, or your city or your village or your colony on hearing this as a question then you are probably right but that answer won’t serve my purpose so let’s re-evaluate the question. Let’s look for another and more precise answer and along with I’ll justify the answer as well. The answer which I am looking for is “your body”. We live in our body which homes our soul. You must be thinking by now that how does any of these is doing justice with the title so I would recommend holding your breath, and it’s quite obvious that your body could do that for me.

Where does our mind reside which synthesizes the thought of life and existence, where does our heart resides which fuels our cells with food, where does voice resides which helps you tell about yourself to the world, where do your senses reside which make you aware of everything around you, where do your lungs reside which captures life from the air and fills you with it. It’s your body where all of this magic takes place. Its where another element that runs your home also takes shelter with you.

Home is a vitality for every soul, not even a single soul lives without a home. The home we talk about is the body that we reside in. It has different forms and everybody is self-sustaining. It has very unique of exhibiting the soul and building and deciding how the soul will become, how it will think. The very significant role of the body is to teach and talk to our soul. We are just a consciousness, the concept of oneself emerges from the consciousness of one and that consciousness is held by the body, It captivates the soul and our consciousness. So yes, to clearly state that we are constituent of three entities that are Body, Soul, Consciousness and the body is the reservoir of the other two entities. Does that make the body a superior one or does it have the same value as of the other two? The answer is no but the explanation for the influence and importance of the body might force you to think the other way.

The body is the influencer of the consciousness and the soul both, it reflects and displays the soul and consciousness to meet each other, It creates a link between all of the three entities. It brings peace to all three entities. It is responsible for the terminology we have coined for ourselves that is human. The body is the art of nature which aims to project its splendiferous form of creativity. That is the one thing that makes us interact with nature, that is the pathway of the soul to connect with the earth itself. The body is the binding particle of consciousness and the soul. It has different forms and unique formations.

Your body has its uniqueness, so as your consciousness and soul. Three unique entities pioneering a very unique self. This is how the concept of the body comes into place. Every cell present in a very defined structure yet resulting in varieties of body form every shade is different from another, every eye has its depth, every hair rests differently on everybody, every cheek has its curve, every lip has its beauty, every voice is unique, every hand has a different touch, every ear stands differently, every shape draws another beautiful picture, every foot stands differently, every back has a unique bend. When the summit of body, consciousness and the soul took place it created not a single human, it created every single self as unique. Difference and dissent are what nature created to draw out the beauty in every human being. The human body is the epitome of beauty with its varying form.

Nature has granted this idiosyncrasy to stand out in every bunch of human beings because everyone has got their quirkiness which is surpassing. Humans evolved by the time and everything started to change, the stronger enslaved the weaker, and the stronger ones termed themselves as superior ones which were a complete lie. The uniqueness didn’t stand out anymore because the uniqueness was a reward for the stronger ones and a bane for the weaker ones. The purpose of uniqueness was brought to the ground badly and stronger ones created two terms superior and inferior to depict themselves as one of the pure ones. This is how body shaming came into existence. From those old times to this new age we have been continuously fighting the myth created by the stronger ones. Humans developed, various revolutions took place, civilization came and went away but the way of looking to the other unique body hasn’t been changed. The human mind grew age by age, with the technological advancement the thoughts also advanced and people broke the taboo around them, the myths were discarded, humans started searching for the self. Is it enough which is being done? Are we satisfied with the growth of our thought, if we are then we shouldn’t? We need to elevate more from where we are, and it is tedious because those trivial thoughts have become reflexes of our minds. The thinking of a body otherwise if it doesn’t have the color you think is superior or its skin isn’t as thin or as thick as your caged thoughts allow it to be or its shape which doesn’t satisfy your gaze is the thinking developed due to the deterred state of mind. The concept of uniqueness escapes our eyes when our judgemental self-destroys the aura of someone different from your thoughts. The racial mentality and the disrespectful gaze, or the mean look are the cruelest not only to someone’s body but also to the beautiful home nature has awarded, also to the soul which is sacred in its self, also the magical consciousness which brings out the difference among us. The shame which one brings to the uniqueness of the body is the shame he or she brings to herself or himself because we may stand explicitly different but nature from which we descended is tending to be only one.

HOW TO REFORM

Well, there have been words out from centuries about various social reforms and various social movements took place to make this true. The point of talking about social reformation or social reform, in general, is to realize that we always need it. The surroundings and habitats we live in getting turned around in those directions which we wish it shouldn’t have, and we constantly practice to tackle and reform the situation putting things back on track. This might sound bogus but we indeed needed social reform from the beginning and we need social reform now, and by the time passes our need for the reform is increased geometrically from the last time we had had one. Whatever one does, whoever country starts it, it takes a great struggle to ignite the reform and even more blood and sweat to put everything in its place. After some time the reform is visible in the society in patches. Every mentality doesn’t accept the change and stay rigid with their ideals, sometimes these ideals are so rogue and detrimental that it causes major harms in society born out of contradiction.

It is said that “Change is the law of nature.” After witnessing so much modernization, we still have a very tiny amount of knowledge about nature. I make this statement because of our instincts towards nature which is of overpowering it. We like to think that we can control things around us, we could alter what we want and reverse what we have done but that isn’t the wise knowledge about nature. Nature governs us and we are just a phase for it, we will pass but nature will stand till eternity. But with our shooting in the dark about the changing behaviour we got the right thing. Everything changes and everything keeps on changing, this is a proven fact. If you see something still or not changing it is just relative and you don’t have a greater picture yet. Whenever we talk about saving earth or nature that is a total lie, we tell to ourselves. The truth we need to acknowledge is that we need to save ourselves not the earth. Earth has been on its place for billions of years and it will be there in the place for another billion years but what is at stake is human existence, it could get wiped out because that is what we fear and talk about saving the earth. We are not saving the earth; we are saving the liveability of humans on the surface of the earth. Nature always changes and if you won't change and you always point your fingers towards the ecosystem in which you live, that will be a failed analogy to be followed. What you need for a change is to point fingers towards yourselves, to rebuild your thought process. To acknowledge what needs to be altered to bring the desired change and that is the crux of this text. How one could reform socially, and how everything starts with oneself.

When you try to bring change in the social form and wish for social reforms as a tool for betterment one needs to think about how change works and how the change is effective and lasts for long. Let us draw a diagram to understand how change works and how to lay the bricks of change.

“Be the change you wish to see in the world” The quote by Mahatma Gandhi solves a lot of trouble in explaining the diagram which I wish to draw before you. The quote asks you to become what you wish to see in the world but how simple is that to achieve and how complex is that to perceive, lets clear the air. Consider yourself as the unit of the world or your nation now let’s pick up a change or reform for which we have struggled and brought in the society or think that we have brought. Democracy would be a great example for the “change”, people have struggled and campaigned even lost their lives while fighting for the change but was it worth it? Does the change is prevalent in the current scenarios? To understand democracy and feel and celebrate it we must first bring democracy to ourselves If considering the nation as a whole of the society, the family would be the possible unit of the society. If you wish to establish democracy in your country or society you first need to establish in your home. You should strive for becoming democratic before you wish for a democratic system for your society. If your family has a monarch, if you support the monarchical basis at your home, it is seldom that your nation will ever reform to be democratic. Now If we consider the family as a whole, you are the unit of the family and of course the microunit of your society then there is the grave requirement to look for a change within yourself before looking in the society. What you build within yourself will be the projection of society. What you sow within yourself you will taste the ripening in the society, because you are what builds a society and your intent is the intent of the society. The reform about which we talk much should start from the very zero of ourselves, from the deep within of our hearts, from the chaotic minds we possess, from the serene silence we exhibit, from the love of our mothers, from the grace of our fathers, from where we started from where we will end. That will be what the real In-Quilab will look like, from there you could look into the endless revolutions, from where you could look upon the whole mankind, from where you could breathe for your life, from where you will find your soul. The reform will hold your hands and will flourish with you across the world. You will flow like an ocean of an idea, you won’t be stopped, you won’t be shaken, the reform which is needed will hail around the world.

PERFECTION

Perfection Scene

“This is perfect,” she said on seeing the wristwatch I have gifted on her 21st birthday. I said well that’s not quite something but she was hyped up to happiness in her extremities. It’s her way to take everything on the verge which lies on zenith. Simple emotion conveyed in a pious sense. She always has her way of smiling childishly. Her smile tells me that she would do anything to attain the happiness she has got and force me to believe that this has happened the very first time. Although I am aware of her beautiful expression of her thoughts and tend to be beaming in just a glimpse of it. The watch was nothing special as a gift that could erupt such an explosion of happiness. I have seen people gifting beautiful artwork, expensive dresses, and sometimes creating something with their own hands. But someone calling a gift perfect which has been bought and delivered through an e-commerce store might sound artificial. Well, to be more precise it might sound artificial in the absence of actual visual and audio. Her smile authored the title perfect on the watch as its been perfect since it was made. On seeing the watch and calling it perfect, she established a pure expression of happiness and satisfaction which added weight to the word and provided credibility to it. When I exclaim the word perfect, it isn’t satisfying to anybody including me. The word might make a good review of the situation but do not deliver justice for the word itself. Perfect needs something to be out of the world, which would excite us and catch our nerves. Her childish smile made me have a view of what perfect means.

For sake of understanding let us look to the phrase “Nothing is perfect”. It has gained so much fame that it would take sheer logic to make you all think in the other way. The main reason behind this phrase gaining fame and the word ‘perfect’ losing its essence is the generalization of the word.  Perfect has been extensively used in this trodden world by the people inhabiting who are bent under various conventions and pursuits they wish to carry out or are carrying out. Their eyes sparkle with the mere glimpse of goodness and positivity and they end up labeling them perfect. The degradation of the word resulted in facilitating the escape of its essence. Perfection now stood by the word “Ideal” and cast its effect on it. People then generalized “ideal” with “perfect” and it was about time that the words were used interchangeably. I have objections to befriending idealism with perfection. The thing which stings my eyes is the generalization of the word which has become much frequent that the meaning of “Ideal” and “Perfect” has started to feel the same. But that does not mean that “perfection” has any chance to stand with “ideal” because they just don’t belong to the same league. Words should speak for themselves and their meaning should stand in the ocean of words. I am sure that Perfect and perfection have the capability of safeguarding their existence.

The easy way to establish a fact about certain terminology is to first define it. It would help us examine its meaning in true senses. Perfection is considered an extra celestial thing that is out of our reach and to coverup for that we have made its connection to other words to justify its meaning in our world. The worst phase for the word started when people connected the word with its antonym and made them equivalent to each other. By doing this they not only derogated the meaning of “perfect” and its antonym “imperfect” but also the word “antonym” because “Antonym” was the term used to draw out complete antagonism in two words. If I cite an example for this, the phrase “imperfect is perfect” would completely satisfy my cause. In this phrase, imperfect is termed as perfect but why have we united both the words which antagonize each other.  I am aware of things that are conveyed by this phrase but aren’t there are other ways of saying it? Does that not degrade the word “perfect” as its antagonist is succeeding in its place? It's same as a story, which has only a villain who is considered as a hero by the audiences because the emotion and character played by the hero are unachievable by the audiences and they end up considering the hero as false illusion and invest their faith in the villain and make him a hero.

The scarcity of the actual feeling of “perfection” has made us consider that perfection doesn’t exist but that’s not the reality of words. Words are created to define something for the objective of perceiving by human minds. We should acknowledge that the world has so much good to offer and if we open up our hearts and search for perfection, we would surely find it. When we would find perfection, we will utter the word and that day we will realize that that’s real and the hero and the villain stand differently in every story. Spotting perfection in the world around us isn’t so much of a tough job. We are always around perfection; we just need to realize what’s perfect. We don’t need to use the word as euphoria but connect it with real emotions.

The watch which made her happy was not the emotions evoked out of materialism because the watch hasn’t had to offer much, but the bond which it depicted filled her heart with magnificent joy. The girl is always inviolable and she shows me with her light the meaning of perfection, she tells me with her eyes that perfect is real. She forces me to think that the heart of the father pounding with motherhood when he holds his child for the first time is perfect, the soldier in grief in the far of no man's land remembering his love is perfect, the smile of a newborn which isn’t laden with any worldly colors but which is pure as heaven is perfect. The golden soil which feeds us and the joy and life it gives to the reapers is perfect, the thing inside every one of us which is separating us with the inanimate is perfect. The feeling of life filling up our lungs with energy is perfect. Perfect is real and to seek perfection we must first acknowledge that it is already in existence.

THE CONUNDRUM OF SILENCE

Silence image, empty sky

It’s been said and acknowledged that silence has several meanings, but for me, silence is a multidimensional reality. Well, that’s some word a techie uses to describe his new AI. I didn’t mean to do that, I just want to tell you that silence has several dimensions and the spectator can only access one or a few of them. One cannot travel in different prospects to observe different angles, it’s because the control lies with the individual possessing silence and the individual decides to what extent his dimensions are to be put on display. Well, I have complicated things a little bit but I’ll get to the point. Silence usually is defined as the absence of sound but I am not talking about that because that’s so easy, there is sound and there is no sound, you don’t need to think about that. There are no possible dimensions to this point. There will be no binary in understanding this technical silence but if the chips drop down to a silent man then there will be the need for literature. I do not intend to imply that people who aren’t connected with the literature of silence are totally out of the game but there is always room to know about anything, even ”The theory of everything” didn’t master everything, because at first it is hypothetical and second it only links together all aspects of the physical universe, leaving behind the metaphysical ones which are more complicated than anything to mankind. People hold doctorates in this advanced literate world but cannot deduce their emotions, they have been having throughout their life. The universe we imagine and dream to explore all of it one day is so vast that we couldn’t just confine the dream into ten lettered word “everything” but somehow the prefix ”theory of” multiplies the power of the word but not to that extent that it would cover much of what we dream. Silence is an ambiguous absence of signs or words or simply the absence of any signs of communication from an individual. If we give a raw look at the word and its possible expression then we would think that the person is sad or in intense anger that he refuses to speak or communicate but that may not be the case every time. It could be deeper than that.
The speech has done enough damage to the world we know of. The speech has induced love in the two very unmeetable entities and sparked a war between the two who were in the proper peace, but the tale of silence is lost as the meaning of the word implies. What is lost doesn’t mean that it has ceased to exist, it is somewhere meandering in the clouds or the far of terrain when the winds will turn, it will revisit its place and then it will be our responsibility to make a firm grip on it. When we will get a fast hold on the meaning of the word we could further look into its anatomy. For instance, let us all assume that we all have a very firm grip on the word silence and then inspect the possibilities of its presence and what does it imply or what does it intend to display. In the beginning, I have said about the dimensions of the silence so let’s first stick our nose into that and smell how silence appears. The dimensions of silence depict the presence of the intention which are to be conveyed by the person or are to be withheld inside his deep introvert ocean of thoughts. An individual who is the epitome of silence might be not communicating because his terms are not met, he didn’t want to invest his energy in the vibe because he thinks that it would incur him unnecessary losses. The assessment might be based on unlikable situations he is facing or the evaluation of the result obtained in the previous attempts made to communicate in alike situation. The other aspects include the despair which might have enslaved the speech of the person. Despair would have been made the person forced to be chained under silence by their conscience. Anger which rarely inflicts silence but when it does it means that the person is elevated consciously or the person is creating a reservoir of anger inside him. In most cases, the latter one happens but if the former happens it tells much about the person. It depicts that the person is not flown by the winds but has its own set of beliefs and values. He depicts extreme intellectuality by showing silence in anger. To identify which is the root cause behind the silence there is a technology yet to be discovered. Silence often is a tool of sages and Sufis. We are often told that the sages and the Sufis lead their life away and alone but the question is for what? They know that silence is somewhere linked with peace and contentment. Physical silence triggers the internal vibration which is known to be heavenly and the affinity helps them attain peace. This silence of which I mentioned right now is very different from the one which just means the absence of sound or communication. It represents much more the inner side of a person than the visible outer reactions. Silence is a mystery when it is possessed by someone of greater rank. I do not wish to imply that the silence of a commoner is just easily interpretable and accessible and to see the extremities of the silence we need to find a sage or a Sufi. The intention behind mentioning them is to bring up an ideal example in front of you to understand the Conundrum of silence. It's been said and heard several times that the person with an ocean of knowledge is calm in speaking, he avoids all hurries to rush and choose silence. It is true in the case of the greatest listeners. To rejuvenate their insights and to gain potential knowledge one needs the tool of silence. It is not possible without this tool that anything significant could be achieved. The silence is a tool for the recipient of the knowledge and the propagator who imparts sense to their disciples. If we look closely, we will sense this as a boon, but the handling of silence needs to be carefully done by the individual. The silence, when required, should be put on a play but when required to break, one must proceed with full confidence. Silence isn’t something that could be ever put in some kind of binary but it should be used extensively where required and withdrawn and retreated accordingly. If we observe keenly silence is a puzzle but if we overlook, it’s just silence.

Welcome Readers. This blog is all about the net of thoughts that I have weaved inside my head while growing up.

Three Kinds of Romantics in Rain

When the dark monsoon clouds are carried over by southwest monsoon winds every year from the end of June to the beginning of September, th...
